The governorship candidate of Allied Peoples Movement in Ogun state, Adekunle Akinlade on Monday said he returned to the All Progressives Congress with his loyalists because they remain the legitimate owners of the party.
The governorship candidate said this while speaking with newsmen at the APM secretariat in Leme, Abeokuta.
He explained that he and his loyalists left APC in October 2018 because of an alleged injustice by the national leadership of the party.
He, however said it became imperative to set their grievances apart and return to their party after they had used all available means to fight the injustice.
He added that their return is to sustain the core base and consolidate the gains made so far
