The Vehicle Inspection Service of Ogun State together with other sister agencies has prosecuted 108 violators during this lockdown.
The State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, had issue a stay "at Home Order" as part of the measures to curtail the pandemic that is ravaging the whole world.
The pandemic, known as COVID-19 has killed many people across the world, Nigeria inclusive.
The Ogun State Chief Road Traffic Officer, Engr Ademehin made this known in his WhatsApp message sent to The Voice Magazine today. He gave the analysis of those prosecuted by the agency at Somorin Obatonko, Abeokuta as follow; 108 was arrested, 41 Paid fined, 27 Released by court while subjected to community Service.
He advised motorists to adhere strictly to the order of the State by the governor and to also drive carefully once the lockdown is relax.
The VIS Chief officer said his agency with other sisters agencies will not rest until they bring sanity to the State roads.
