The Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has identified incessant gridlocks on Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway as impatience on the part of motorists plying the road.

The Owode-Ijako Unit Commander of TRACE, Temitope Oseni, on Wednesday this known during an interview with TheCaveat.info in Ota,Ogun.


Oseni advised motorists to shun the culture of impunity and selfishishness, adding that they should be patient as the only solution now to end the incessant gridlocks that have characterised travelling on the axis, causing a lot of damages and loss to all and sundry.

Oseni said that the advice became necessary for motorists so that as reduce people’s sufferings and time spent in gridlocks.

She noted that most of the gridlocks encoutered by motorists, along Owode-Ijako axis was as a result of the failed portions of the road.

“The TRACE implore motorists against driving against traffic to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.”he said.

The unit Commander called for caution as there is nothing that kills faster than driving against traffic.

She said that many innocent people had called victims of such act which sometimes Led death and deformity.

Oseni commended the state government in its efforts to rehabilitate the roads.
