WHY OCTAGON MAGAZINE HONOURS CDR AJIBADE, RINNAYE AND OLAOKE

The management of Octagon Media, publishers of Octagon Magazine was on Wednesday June 3rd honours notable and performing officers of Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE).


Among notable officers that was honoured that day were Cdr Ajibade Adekunle, the Area 4 Commander of the Corps, Cdr. Omotayo Rinnaye, the Divisional Commander of Ota Division and Cdr. OLAOKE Victoria Olusayo the Head of Operation II.

In his address at the award presentation to the officers at Ota Divisional Base, the publisher of the Octagon Magazine said his choice of selection of the awardees was based on their numerous contributions to humanity especially in their chosen career as road safety officers and there dedication to duty.

Describing the Area Commander Ajibade, the publisher, Mr. Egbewunmi Olatunji said Cdr Ajibade is one of the best officers of the corps who gives his best to the service of humanity. "This man is always ready at anytime to save the lives and properties of the citizens on the roads. His Command has organized series of workshops and seminars on how people can drive safely" he said.

Explaining why he awarded Cdr Omotayo Rinnaye, the divisional commander, Mr. Egbewunmi said, he is a stereotype of his boss, CDR Ajibade. He described Cdr. Rinnaye as a fearful officer, an exemplary officer that Carry's his officers along in whatever he does. He described him as another gentle and responsible officer in Ogun TRACE corps that can be proud of.

Another awardees was Cdr OLAOKE Victoria who was described as a linguistic officer that speaks many languages in order to pass across his information. CDR Victoria is the Head of Operation II. The publisber mentioned that she is an educator, trainer and teacher. He said, the woman gives her best to make sure that our roads are safe from accidents. He said, she is dutiful, responsible and ready to take up any challenges that may come her.

 "This officer has educated and sensitized many road users on how to drive safely on our roads. She is a versatile and linguistic officer that speaks many languages to pass her information to the audience" he added

The award event was graced by Ota leagues of journalists and other notable personalities.
