Nigerians have been advised to embrace the Peace that Jesus Christ brought to the world over thousands of years ago. Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele, the Onilogbo of Ilogbo-Asowo, Ogun State, made this known in his Christmas message through his Media Adviser, Otunba Damilola Oladele.
In his word “let me
congratulate the whole world as we yet celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the birth of Jesus Christ brought peace, reconciliation, wonders and
forgiveness to the world. He is the Saviour of the world, our deliverer and God”.
Kabiyesi said the world
is in tumult, things has falling apart, but if Nigerians and the world at large
can embrace the peace that Jesus Christ brought to the world, the world will be
better.
The foremost
traditional ruler bemoaned on the rate at which the world especially Nigeria
has become a dungeon of crimes. He condemned the serial killings across the
country and appeal to the government to find a lasting solution to it.
Oba Ojugbele call on
the whole world to imbibe all the personalities of Jesus Christ and also embrace
the purposes of His coming to the world especially, the Peace.
In his word, “on this
Christmas day, as we commemorate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let me
appeal to the world to embrace the peace that Jesus brought to the world so
that the world can be peaceful”.
