His Royal Majesty, Oba Wasiu Akanni Ogungbayi was installed as the Baale of Owode Ota, Aworiland by His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele, the Onilogbo of Ilogbo Asowo land in the year 2007

On his installation to the throne of his ancestors, Kabiyesi immediately identified prominent sons and daughters of the Owode Ota Kingdom both at home and in Diaspora to be honoured with Chieftaincy titles in line with the traditions and customs of the community.

These Royal Chiefs formed notable Royal Council of Chiefs of the town that collaborated greatly with his Royal Majesty to uplift the status of the community to the present enviable level of administration in the Local Government area and the state at large today.

Kabiyesi pivotally championed the establishment of the Council of Baales in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government area as a platform to mutually discuss challenges facing various Awori Communities under their jurisdictions. He acted as the pioneering Coordinator of the  forum.

The establishment of the Ogun State Council of Baales was equally spearheaded by Kabiyesi and acted as its pioneering Coordinator. The platform gave all Baales in Ogun State the opportunity to be accorded recognition and respect by both the State and the Local Governments. The platform became veritable instruments of           information disseminations by the government to the grassroot. His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel see the Ogun State  Council of Baales very useful and the government equally used the Baales forum as her  bottom up feedback mechanism of the grassroot to the government.
