Saturday 27th of March, 2021 has been fixed for the investiture of Orile-Erinko Community Lions Club, Zone 8B, Region 8, District 404-B1 Nigeria and the official presentation of Lion Otunba Titus Sodeinde as the Chartered President of the Club also with the induction of Charter members and installation of club officers for 2020/2021 Lions year.

*11 STOLEN VEHICLES RECOVERED WITH FRSC DATABASE IN JOS ZONE*

The Zonal Commanding Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Zone 4, comprising Plateau, Benue and Nasarawa States, Assistant Corps Marshal Kayode OLAGUNJU, mni, stated that 11 (eleven) stolen vehicles were recovered by the Zone in the last one year and handed over to the Police for further investigation and prosecution. The stolen vehicles were discovered at the point of re-registration and uploading of the vehicle details  to the National Database across the Zone . The vehicles recovered were; 6 (six) Toyota Corolla, 2 (two) Toyota Camry, 1 (One) Toyota Tacoma, 1 (One) Pontiac Vibe and 1 (One) Mazda 323.

 The Northern Elders’ Forum (NEF) has said that with the continued kidnapping and banditry especially in the northern part of the country, the citizens have lost faith in the ability of government to defend them. 

The Northern Elders also said the unabated abduction of students in the region poses threat to education in the region, especially the education of the girl-child.
