The monarch said this in his Easter Goodwill Message to the world which was made available to the media today. Oba Ogungbayi rejoice and congratulates Christians as they celebrate this year Easter and urged the whole world to imitate His lifestyle of sacrifice.
In his word, "Easter celebration reminded us the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a fulfilled life in spite of been killed at His prime age. The life of Jesus is a sacrificial life.
According to the Bible that I read, He was sent by God to save humanity, He left all His glory and splendour in heaven just to save mankind. In spite of His kind hearted, the wicked people conspired to killed Him. He was bruised, abused, condemned for sins He knows nothing about, yet, Jesus did not misused His power, He surrender Himself to be killed. I want to appeal that we all emulate this lifestyle so that the world can witness peace"
The traditional ruler equally pray that the present pandemic that is ravaging the world will soon come to an end. He commended
