EASTER 2020, ONILOGBO CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE AND PRAYERS

The traditional ruler of Ilogbo-Asowo, Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State, Oba Dr Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele has advised Nigerians to live together in peace and continue to intensify more prayers for God to have mercy on the land.


The foremost lawyer turns traditional ruler disclosed this in his Easter message signed and made available to the press by his media chief, "Baaroyin", Otunba Oladele Damilola Moses.

Kabiyesi congratulates Christians all over the world for this year Easter celebration and reminded the people the reasons why Jesus laid down His life for humanity and urged the people to emulate His life by living a sacrificial life.

"Let me congratulates and rejoice with my fellow Christians across the world. Jesus is risen, He is risen indeed, hallelujah. This is the greatest celebration of Christians, the bible tells us that if Jesus had not rose from the dead, our faith would have been in vain. Jesus Christ came to this world to save the sinners. He came to reconcile us back to God by laying down his life for us. I want to appeal that we should always think of His purpose of coming to the world, His dead and resurrection, we should emulate this and live a sacrificial life"

In the same vein, the first class Oba urged people to be more prayerful at this time especially when the whole world is facing serious challenges. The monarch said it is only through prayers that this pandemic called COVID-19 can stop.

In his word, "It is so pathetic that the world is experiencing this great challenge. But let me assure the people not to lose hope but rather be more prayerful and ask God to heal the land. We can only win this battle through intensive prayers".

Oba Ojugbele finally advised his subject to remain calm as regards the issues of hoodlums that is ravaging the Ilogbo and it's environs, he assured them that all hands are on deck to curb the situation.

" The issue of the bandits that robbed some parts of the town yesterday has been reported immediately to our security agencies and I want to appealed to the good people of Ilogbo to relax there mind, necessary security steps have been taking to curb the reoccurrence of such urgly incidents" He said
