The traditional ruler of Ilogbo-Asowo, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Govt, Ogun State, HRM Oba Samuel Olufemi Ojugbele has fixed July 3rd for his first Subject Writing COMPETITION for Junior and Secondary School Students.
The Excercise according to Otunba Deji Kosebinu is part of the 20th Coronation Anniversary of the monarch. The Chairman, 20th Coronation Anniversary Committee, Otunba Deji Kosebinu made this known today that the competition is part of the Programme itemize to mark Oba Ojugbele 20th Coronation Anniversary.
Otunba Kosebinu describe Kabiyesi as a lover of education. "Kabiyesi is a lover of education, his first assignment 20years ago when he ascended the throne was the resuscitation of Ilogbo-Asowo Community High School that has been closed for long years. Kabiyesi ensure that all parents embrace education, hence, he went round the Ilogbo and it's environs to sensitize the community on the values of education"
The subject writing competition involves 10schools within Ilogbo and it's environs. According to the Chairman Education and Youth Sub-Committees of the Onilogbo 20th Anniversary Committee, Dr. Ogunsimiro, he said the students will answer questions on 5 Subjects, e.g. English, Civic, Literature, CRS etc.
Dr. Ogunsimiro, who is the Otunba Fiwajoye of Ilogbo-Asowo said the Committee has arranged different gifts for all the participants. He said the marking of the exams will be done by independent exams marking body in the country.
