The Awori Diocesan Women Organization, under the leadership of Mrs. Foluso Atere, today, December 18th celebrates 2019 Christmas Carol.

In her welcome address, the Diocesan women's President, Mrs. Foluso Atere, appreciates God on behalf of the women in the Diocese for another privilege to see 2019 Christmas Carol Party. She used the opportunity to appreciate all the women for the love and support for the work of God in Awori Diocese, the President, now urged them not to relent in their services to God because God will surely reward them.
The Carol party was divided into two part. The first part, started at 9am basically meant for aged and widows in the Diocese. Annually, the women organization always appreciate God in the lives of the aged and the widows by giving them presents. The Diocesan President will use the opportunity to relate with the aged and the widows and encourage them to be steadfast in the Lord.
The second part of the event commenced at 11am. An event with series of activities like dramas, song ministration, choreography from churches, archdeaconries and individuals take place.
Dignitaries present at this year Christmas Carol were, the Ven Nelson Adewole, the Dean of the Cathedral, Barr (Mrs) Bose Olabisi, the Chancellor of the Diocese, Mrs. Olayoku, Ven. Emmanuel Adekoya (Archdeacon, Sango-Archdeaconry), Ven Oluwawalemi, Archdeacon, Oju-Ore Archdeaconry, Ven. Aduloju (Archdeacon, Konifewo Zone) Revd. Rowland.
