As nationwide protests spread, protesters, on Friday have presently blocked Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway, Joju, Sango/Ota, preventing vehicular movement either inbound our outbound.

The protesters mounting a makeshift rostrium in the middle of the Express way took turn to tell the world why on the road.

They made it known to their listeners that their protest is on bad roads.

"Despite the fact that Ota is an industrial town where both Federal and state government get bulk of revenue, our roads are completely bad. The Idiroko/Sango road is not assessible presently. It is an international road bedecked with gullies.

"You cannot use your vehicle here because of bad roads. Trucks fall and kill us on daily basis because of bad roads. We shall be here as long as government decides to attend to us and address our plight. Away with bad governance leading to bad roads in Ota"
